Card Spotlight: Top Dog Birthday

Hello my crafty friends and welcome back! Today I am spotlighting a card I made the other day. I had a lot of fun making this card, I love when I get to use watercolors on a card.

The stamps I used on this birthday card are both from Simon Says Stamp. For the image I used the “Bone-A-Fide Birthday” stamp set and for the sentiment I used the “Top Dog Birthday” stamp set. To paint my image I used Paul Ruben watercolors and I used my Fine Tec shimmer paints for the platter. For the sentiment on the front of the card I used a Recollections embossing powder that worked nicely with the blues on the cake. For everything I stamped on the inside was stamped with my Catherine Pooler dye inks. The blue glitter paper is from Tonic, I love their glitter paper because it’s like the Simon Says Stamp glitter paper. It doesn’t shed.

There you go, a pretty simple card. Thank you so much for reading today. Your support means the world to me. I will link my YouTube channel down below as well as my Instagram. I would love for you to subscribe to my blog before you click out. Posting will be a bit erratic for a while because of my new job but hopefully things will settle out soon. Have a great rest of your day and, until next time, keep creating! XO Emma
