Hello my crafty friends and welcome back! Today is a card spotlight kind of day! Today I’m going to share with you a get well card I have made to send to my Aunt in a couple of weeks. Let me show you what I made.
The stamp I used for this card is called “Lil Nurse Nancy” and it’s from Whimsy Stamps. It’s a red rubber stamp and I love using it. I think it’s a great stamp and I love coloring it in so many different ways. I then used a ‘Get Well Soon’ die that I got from Simon Says Stamp. The sequins are from Studio Katia. I don’t use my rose gold sequins very often so getting to use them on this card. I glued them and the sentiment down with my Ranger Multi Medium Matte glue. The backing paper I used is from My Favorite Things and it’s their Buffalo Brights paper pad. I cut a quarter inch off of the top and side of the Nancy panel and then cut the Buffalo Brights paper to A2 size- 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. This was a quick card and it would be great for mass production in my opinion. The coloring doesn’t take long and it looks nice. I used my Arteza Expert colored pencils to color little Nancy. On the inside I used a sentiment and turtle image from the Lawn Fawn ‘On the Mend’ stamp set. I stamped the sentiment with, what else, my Versafine Onyx Black ink and the turtle is stamped with the Garden Party ink from Catherine Pooler. I also stamped the turtle onto the envelope but I used the Eucalyptus ink from Catherine Pooler instead.
