Hello my crafty friends, and welcome back! Today I wanted to do a quick card spotlight that was supposed to go up on Thursday… I’m a few days behind. For this post, I’m going to try something new. Instead of a step by step of how I made the card, I am going to show you the finished product only. Short and sweet and will hopefully inspire you to play with your own stamps and dies!
For this card I used the Simon Says Stamp ‘Top Dog Birthday’ stamp set. This is one of my most favorite stamp sets that I own. It makes a great birthday card for anyone of any age. On the inside of the card, I used the little stamps for the set to decorate and then I used a stamp from my Simon Says Stamp ‘Birthday Messages’ stamp set. It’s a small set with quite a few sentiments perfect for anyone. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find it on their site the last few times I’ve looked. I colored the image with my Prismacolor Premier colored pencils. I used the colorless blender by Derwent to blend the shades together. The die is also from Simon. It is the Simon Says Stamp ‘Happy Birthday’ wafer dies. This is one of the newer dies to my collection and I really love how it looks. I like the two different sizes and fonts that the die has. The paper I used for the die is a glitter paper from Tonic.
What do you think? I hope you feel inspired! Thank you for stopping by today and for your continuous support, it really means the world to me. I *try* to post every Tuesday and Thursday right now but have yet to determine a set time.
