Card Spotlight: Ink Blended Card

Hello, my crafty friends, and thanks for coming by today! I’m going to share a card with you that I made using a technique I learned from Channin Pelletier. You can check her out here. If you want to learn how to do this technique, keep watching for a post next week on how to do the technique yourself! I had a lot of fun making this card, well, both of them. Let’s jump into it!

I picked my Simon Says Stamp Diamond Circles stencil for this technique. I used my Distress Oxide inks for the ink blending. I used the colors Mustard Seed, Seedless Preserves, and Picked Raspberry. I like this color combination a lot, they look so great when blended together.

Next I took my stencil and spritzed it with water for the technique. I layed watercolor paper over the top and then picked it up. This creates a cool background.

Next I put 1/2″ Scor Tape onto the back of the watercolor panel. I then die cut ‘Hello’ from gold mirror cardstock. The sentiment die is from Simon Says Stamp. I then took my Ranger Multi Medium Glue and put it onto the back of the sentiment. This is my go to glue for sentiments and embellishments.

This is the final card. I like the simplicity of these cards. They’re good to mass produce too, which is awesome. What do you think of the card?
