My Top 7 Favorite Stamps!

Hello my crafty friends and thank you so much for stopping by! Today I wanted to share with you my Top 7 favorite stamp sets. After I show you what they are, I’ll show you a card I just made using one of the sets. To be honest, it was supposed to be 5 stamp sets but I just couldn’t decide so I upped the number to 7, haha. I would love to hear what stamp sets you love, comment them down below. Now, which are my favorites?

My number one favorite stamp set is from Simon Says Stamp and it’s their Top Dog Birthday’ stamp set. If you were to look at my Instagram (@ cardstockqueen) you will see quite a few cards I’ve done with this stamp set. I love using the big sentiment on other birthday cards, along with the other sentiments.

Stamp set number 2- Magnificent Magnolias by Simon Says Stamp from Stamptember two years ago. I love the flowers in this stamp set. The full bloom and the bud, it’s perfect! I’m sorry it was a Stamptember exclusive but I’m so glad I purchased it, I used it at least two or three times a month.

This stamp set is the Up in the Air stamp set from MFT Stamps. This is one of my favorite MFT stamp sets I own. I love to use this card for anniversaries and birthdays especially. I have an MFT cloud stencil that I’ll use once the images are stamped and masked over.

Next up is this super cute stamp set from Art Impressions. It’s their ‘Love Birds’ stamp set. This is my favorite stamp set to use for anniversaries and I really just love to color the images. I use it for older and younger couples. Especially married couples.

This is the Grateful for You from MFT Stamps. Unfortunately I can’t seem to find this stamp set. I like all of the smaller sentiments because I can use them with this set or with other thank you cards.

My last two favorite stamp sets are actually cover gifts from Cardmaking and Papercraft. I love cameos and putting the silhouettes in the frame and I do a bit of layering with the tea stamp set and I can make a little scene out of it. I use these so often, they’re always within an arm’s length.

Now for the card I created using one of these stamp sets:

If you’ve been around for awhile, you’ll know I will do rainbow colors whenever I can. I took a piece of Yupo paper and cut it down to A2 size. I then picked my Alcohol Inks- Watermelon, Dandelion, Sunset Orange, Limeade, Turquoise, and Wild Plum. It’s hard to see the Wild Plum but it’s there. I am using the MFT Grateful For You stamp set and I’m also going to use the ‘Grateful’ word die cut that goes with the set.

I used Simon Says Stamp silver glitter paper for the sentiment because it does not shed glitter. I stamped one of the smaller sentiments not only inside the card but also on the outside, below the die cut word.

Here is the final card. I heat embossed the sentiment below the ‘Grateful’ die cut with clear embossing powder. I love how this card looked when it was finished, it really came together nicely. What do you think?

If you would like to see posts with cards made from the other stamp sets above, be sure to say so down below and I shall do that!
