Hello my crafty friends! Welcome back to my Favorite Craft Goodies, today I’m going to be talking about my favorite stamps. Stamps are essential to the cardmaking industry, giving us an image to color and to convey sentiments. There are stamp sets of just images, of just sentiments, and combinations of the two. I prefer clear photo-polymer stamps but red rubber ones have their merits as well. You can easily line up clear stamps because you can see through them and see where the lines end but with red rubber stamps you are playing a sort of guessing game. I will try to link as many products as I can. These are not affiliate links so I make nothing if you buy from them. I provide them to make it easier to find the products I talk about.
Here are my current favorite stamp sets. I started receiving the Simon Says Stamp card kit back in August and I’m so glad that I did. My favorite one right now is the ‘Woodland Whimsy’ stamp set. It’s so cute and can be used in so many different ways. The other two Simon Says Stamp stamp sets that I love are two birthday stamp sets, the Top Dog Birthday stamp set and the Bone-a-Fide Birthday stamp set. These are probably my favorite birthday stamp sets. The dogs are so cute, especially the one with the wagon with the presents (Top Dog Birthday). They are so much fun to color and you can do so much with them that I love using them. Next is a stamp from the shop Kraftin Kimmie. I call it my Badass stamp set because that’s one of the sentiments but unfortunately it seems to have been discontinued. I love to use this stamp set for encouragement cards. The last image stamp is from Altenew and it is their Gift from Heaven stamp set. I love using this stamp set because it feels so elegant and clean cut. I haven’t colored the image, I always do an ink smooshed background and heat emboss the image. The sentiments are lovely and are really nice. The last two stamp sets I’ve really been loving are the CZ Designs Simple Sentiments 2 and the Clearly Besotted So Much to Say sentiment stamp set. These sentiment stamps are perfect for any card. I love the two different fonts, it gives me a variety of choices.
That’s it! Today was a short and sweet post. I know which stamps I love and I can easily sort them out. Do you have any favorite stamp sets? I’d love to know!
