Alcohol Ink Card: Green and Blue

Hello my crafty friends! Today’s step by step is a simple one and it focuses on my Alcohol Ink. I am currently on a bit of a vacation, so simple is better! I like simple because it allows your brain to relax and allows you too relax at the same time.

The alcohol ink I used is from Ranger and I used the colors Meadow, Limeade, Mermaid, and Cloudy Blue. I love how the blue and green alcohol inks work together. I also added some gold mixative at the last minute.

Next I used the Sunny Studios balloon layer stamp with two different shades of green and a blue as the base. I used Hero Arts inks to stamp the balloon images. For the final outline of the balloon, I used silver glitter embossing powder to give it that final ‘glint’.

I then popped up some of the balloons with 3M Foam Tape and the rest with Scor Tape. I then took a happy birthday sentiment from a Sizzix stamp set and I heat embossed it with black silver glitter embossing powder from Tonic by Nuvo. I put the sentiment on a piece of vellum that had foiled gold stars on it.

One the inside I used the Birthday Sentiments stamp set from Simon Says Stamp which I stamped in VersaFine ink. I then took the solid balloon stamp and stamped it with a blue and green ink to decorate the inside.

Here we are! My final product. This was one of the first cards I made using Alcohol Ink and I was so proud of how it turned out. What are some of your favorite alcohol inks? I’m looking to try some new colors and add them to my collection. I hope you enjoyed today’s post. XO❤ Linked below are my social media outlets. Feel free to check them out!
