Hello my crafty friends and welcome back to:
This is an older card of mine that I will be sharing with you today. In other words, I’m bring it out of the vault. But not literally because I mailed it a year ago sooo. Let’s get to it! Here is the card featuring the Dogs in Pots stamp from Wild Rose Studio. My favorite stamp of theirs is the one with the bunny in the basket and the big Easter Egg, do you know it? I couldn’t find mine this year and I was heartbroken because it was my favorite Easter stamp and it’s been discontinued. 😢 But these doggies are super duper cute and I’m so excited to share them with you so let’s get going!
I coloured the little pups in using my Arteza Real Brush Pens and I LOOOOVE how this came out! I am in no way near the best with watercoloring and even more so when it’s tiny spaces that I am coloring, like here. The Green Plaid background is from Lawn Fawn from a discontinued Rainbow Plaid collection. I’m so sad because I missed when they said they were discontinuing it and I was too late and couldn’t get another 12×12 pack and one or two 6×6 pads. Oh well. I’ve found others that are just as good but it’s not it for lack of the proper word. For the blue paper I used on the bottom, it was one of those that has a sheen but isn’t glittery. I heat embossed the Happy Birthday Sentiment with Ranger Super Fine Detail White Embossing Powder. For the finishing touch I took a strip of grey paper and put it behind the dog section and, I don’t know I thought it tied the card together nicely. This has been one of my favorite cards that I’ve done with this stamp. You may see a few more pop up, so keep your eyes peeled!
There you have it! What do you think of today’s card? Let me know, I’d love to chat with you down below. Have a great start to the week and I’ll see you Tuesday! XO
