For today’s card spotlight Sunday, I chose an inspirational card that I made when I received my first order from Unity Stamp Co. It was one of their smaller image stamp sets and this one was designed by Angie Blom.
This was one of my first tries at ink blending. I used the Distress Oxide ink in Broken China. The flower itself I colored with my Arteza Real Brush Pens with a layer of glitter from the Spectrum Sparkle pen above the flower itself. I used the Unity Stamp Co set in ‘Prefer to Smile’. (Hint: It’s currently on sale!) The stamp set comes with three pieces, the sentiment and flower that you see above and a small polka dotted heart. They are unmounted cling red rubber stamps, which makes them easy to clean. At least it does for me. I am saving this card and it’s twin (it was so simple to make, I made two). I’m spotlighting this card this week, because of what’s going on in our country right now. I feel that everyone needs something reminding them that it’s going to get better.
I hope you liked this weeks Card Spotlight, I tried to keep it short and sweet this time so I hope you enjoyed! Creativity will allow you to break free of the norm, of what is expected. Creativity will set you free!
